Amy Winehouse Foundation
Establishment and Purpose
Following Amy Winehouse's death from alcohol poisoning in July 2011, her family
established the Amy Winehouse Foundation. The foundation officially launched on 14 September 2011,
which would have been Winehouse's 28th birthday.
Her brother, Alex Winehouse, joined as a staff member from the start.
Goals and Activities
- Helping vulnerable and disadvantaged young people.
- Preventing the impact of drug and alcohol misuse on youth.
- Informing, supporting, and inspiring young people to reach their full potential.
- Collaborating with other charities and organizations.

Educational Programs

On 12 March 2013, with the support of Russell Brand, the
Amy Winehouse Foundation Resilience Programme was launched. -
The program aims to provide effective education in schools across
the UK to help young people cope with drugs, alcohol, and emotional challenges.
